 Dr. Kenya M. Cistrunk has been elected as president of the Mississippi Conference on Social Welfare for 2023.   Dr. Cistrunk is an associate professor at Mississippi State University and serves as Program Director for the Social Work Program. As president, Dr. Cistrunk will focus on the continued development of internal processes and organization protocols, while seeking to increase membership. 

MCSW Past President, Dr. Virginia Adolph, received a three-year appointment to the National Ethics Committee of the National Association of Social Workers.
